Rory Lynas on three sacrificed a piece for an attack, which quickly turned into trench warfare. A piece down, the attack seemed to gain strength and with the opponent's King was forced to repeat for a draw. Warren Archibald on two played well for a safe draw. Richard Evans on top board reached an impasse with a Piece & pawns ending, the opponent eventually agreeing a draw.
